Jo & Anna

We first met at antenatal classes 28 years ago, and have been friends ever since. Over the years, we’ve shared all sorts of adventures; walking the Camino de Santiago, crossing Britain on the Coast to Coast path and trekking along Offa’s Dyke in Wales.

Now we’re setting off on a different kind of journey. After running a successful jewellery business together importing and selling pieces at fairs, we wanted to bring a new, more user friendly idea to the jewellery market. The years of wearing the same necklace and earrings day in and day out, for work or for fun, seem to be behind us. In this fast-paced modern world where everything is immediately at our finger tips, we also need to be able to change our look in an instant.

After many consultations, with all age groups, we have created a jewellery range that’s stylish but effortless, easily changeable and with no fuss. This seems to be true for the young and not so young as we’ve watched our children and teenage nieces switch up their styles, endlessly craving versatility and fun.

That’s why we created Flippity. Our designs are simple yet modern, adaptable and very easy to wear.

We have loved bringing these pieces to life, and we hope you’ll enjoy wearing them just as much as we have enjoyed making them.
